How To Split Header Into Two Columns In New Blogger Templates

With newer N newer blogger templates coming up,its getting even more difficult to customize it,i.e add or delete columns etc.Also each template varies in style N its gonna be a very tough job to make changes in it.Well most of the times people will display the modifications for templates which are easy N they stay away from the ones they don't comprehend.Not to worry.These things are pretty simple all you need to do is search for the right piece of code & Try to edit it.For instance ,My template is the Bloggerized template available for free download.I wanted to add more Adbrite N Chitika Ad spots so i fine tuned my template N now it looks a bit different.I dunno If editing my template will be fruitful to you,But I'll give a demo of what I mean:
*First Go to Design>>Edit Html>>Expand Widgets & then Search for #header(Press Ctrl+F to search)
*Now Add this code near the #header:

#header2{

float:left;/* adjust accordin to your requirement

width:50%/* width of the Ad

etc and add more as per your desire
*Now search for the following piece of code:

<b:section class='header' id='header' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='no'>
<b:widget id='Header1' locked='true' title='YOUR-BLOG-TITLE (Header)' type='Header'/>

</div>

Remember YOUR-BLOG-TITLE is your Blog Title.
Now Add the following piece of code below this:

</div>

Why Blogumulus Is Not Working:The Complete Fix

Blogumulus is a Brilliant Animated Flash label Cloud for Blogger which is  just the blogger version of  Roy Tanck's WP Cumulus available as Widget for Wordpress.Recently a lot of people have been facing issues with blogumulus not animating or just not appearing in the blog.There are 2 & currently 2 reasons for Blogumulus not Working:
1)Due to Hosting Issues:If you have Blogumulus enabled in your blog then go to your Design Tab-->Edit Html-->Expand Widgets then find & replace the following :

      with 

http://mopheat.site40.net/recources/tagcloud/swfobject.js 

And Replace :

Incase  you wanna go for a another direct hosting server go to Ripway.com.They provide direct file links.Might come in handy if this script also fails.


2)If the Number of Labels is too high,then Blogumulus might not work properly.It cant display labels more than 118 I guess.Incase you wanna display more ,then you need to increase its height N width parametrs.For more detailed guys you can check here.Its not a good idea to display very long labels using Blogumulus as it might get truncated off.So its preferable to display the best N catchy labels in your Blogumulus.Besides Google doesn't Index your pages using Your Labels or Meta tags now a days(Google Caffeine has a different Indexing Methodology).

Why Adbrite Ad's Are Not Appearing:The Real Story

Ever wondered why Adbrite Ad's are not appearing in your blog or website?The Answer is pretty simple.Adbrite,unlike Adsense is more strict with contents N appearances of a blog & will not accept your blog unless N until they feel contented with your blog.However there are a few ways to make them accept your blog:
*WRITE GENUINE POSTS:Adbrite hate copy N paste contents.Don't even copy the pictures from other sources.Incase you wanna use those pic's,then save it to your computer N then upload it using your blogger.
*KEEP WRITING POSTS REGULARLY:Adbrite doesn't like static blogs.They need blogs with stuffs.The more N more genuine stuffs you post,the better the chances of your the Ads appearing in your blog.
*IF YOU GET THE ADS,DONT CHEAT:Do not Click your own Ad's or compel people to click on your links/Ad's as it is against the TOS.
*If you don't follow the above the steps,chances are likely that even after 3 hours all you can see will be blank background.
                                They are a lot stricter than Adsense,but CPC N pay per click is higher than Adsense.Also they feature the Inline Ad's which makes the blog look really attractive.So follow my instructions N start earning Dolla's.Hope you liked this short N crisp Post.By the Way this is my real life experience with Adbrite.Took sometime for me to get it running in my blog.Followed these steps N then It kicked off N I am received my first check last month.Feels nice.Try it out.

Irctc Service Unavailable:So many Complaints Yet No Action

Irctc Online service is  the most Horrible service I have ever come across in my entire life.Its the same old story whenever i try to book tickets for my family on seasonal holidays(on the first day) or to travel on friday or sunday.I make preparations to book my ticket only to find the service unavailable error when I try to log in.I am a nocturnal character N i just hate getting up early from my bed(I m still single :D).I need to book tickets for my brother Vimal who is currently pursuing his MSc in Coimbatore.So I need to get up early,maybe around 6 am.Then i go to the bathroom take a shower put on some wear,then I watch news for a few minutes.In the meantime I also check whether my internet is working else I need to run to the nearest booking Station(Thiruvanmiyur)which is approximately 3 clicks from my home.But I feel so lazy to do that(Sorry I am a very indolent guy ).

                                                                 As the time inches towards 8,I can hear my parents trying to Intimidate me about the Service Unavailable error especially my mom,as she walks past me,making faces as to provoke me.And it does instigate fear in me.Trust me on that.If I can't enter Irctc website by 8.10 Am, I can forget about booking ticket,as it would have entered the Waiting list quota(Around 30 or 40).So definitely thats something to be frowned upon.Then around 7 or 7.15 I clear my internet cache & other things reset my Ip(Just taking a few precautions).Around 7.30 I start with my breakfast N finish it by 7.40.In just T-minus 2o minutes,my Tantalizing experience with Ticket booking is about to start.At 7.50 I recheck whether My internet is still working & then I'll listen to some of my favourite tracks(Which includes Backstreet boys,Linkin Park,SlimShady,2Pac etc).Then I head over the Irctc website @ 7.59 and enter my username N password and will be waiting for my laptop clock to strike 8.When it does,I click almost Instantly N what do I get:SERVICE UNAVAILABLE .Good God!This is the same old story which gets repeated every Wednesday N Friday when I try to book my ticket.Thankfully A person named Sunil Bhaskar has found a fix for this SERVICE UNAVAILABLE ERROR.The link to that post can be found here.Well atleast we now have a temporary fix.But last week when i tried to book tickets as usual,the tickets ran into the Waiting List (W/L 56/51)by 8.05 itself.Whats going On?!?!?!?I have never seen the tickets run into Waiting List so fast.Is there any change in the Tatkal Bookings?Am I missing anything?
